Tin Can

The Story

Tin Can is a webcomic about four unlikely heroes, two alliens and two Earth beings, traveling through space and time, living life and solving many problems of the exciting and absurd.

The Cast

Captain Slugg: The captain of this ragtag crew, he is a straight shooter, a no-nonsense, go getter, get things done kind of guy. Although a great leader, he has the habit of taking things at face value.

Sub Commander Nozi: She is Captain Slugg’s right hand. She is smart, sarcastic and always brings the crew back to focus on the task at hand.




Science Officer Bearold: He is first and foremost a dog and driven by dog urges and desires. A genius of untold proportions and he doesn’t even know it.




Communication Officer Parrot: A grumpy and selfish know it all, who thinks he should be the Science Officer and is jealous of Bearold’s position. Parrot can’t understand how Bearold solves problems, thinking Bearold is just an idiotic dog. He goes by the name Parrot because he detest his human given name Polly.

About the Artist

Steve Wise: A creature of habit, a procrastinator, a slacker and he didn’t even graduate from a prestigious art school! Growing up, he was loathed by ants and the local news paper tolerated his comics by publishing them. In the early years, he rejoiced at the constant rejection of cartoon syndicates, while other horrible cartoons like Bloom County, Calvin & Hobbes and The Far Side flourished. In the early 1990′s he published his comics on the Internet until he realized that no one was using the Internet at that time. Steve now spends his later days chasing kids off his lawn and crying with his lovely Wife while watching chick flicks.
